Andress High School launched its Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) program in the 2022-2023 school year. As an innovative open-enrollment high school, Andress P-TECH offers students the unique opportunity to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an associate degree or industry certification, preparing them for both college and career success.
In partnership with El Paso Community College (EPCC), Andress P-TECH’s Teacher Education program provides students with the chance to earn an Associate of Arts in Education. This collaboration ensures that students gain valuable skills and knowledge, setting a solid foundation for future educational and professional endeavors. Additionally, students have access to EPCC’s resources, including state-of-the-art facilities and experienced faculty, enhancing their educational experience. Andress P-TECH has established a partnership with the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) to create a seamless transition for students wishing to pursue a bachelor’s degree, ensuring continuity in their education and opening doors to advanced career opportunities. The support from both EPCC and UTEP highlights the strong community commitment to student success and educational attainment.
